A Day at Merrieweathers:
What to do during a day at Merrieweathers…
As the sun rises over the luscious green fields, you can start the day by going for a peaceful morning stroll along the lake. Spot a few ripples amongst the reeds? That could be carp, bream, perch, or perhaps even a trout: perfect catches for those who love a spot of fishing!
Inside your private country house, the great hall becomes the setting for a yoga session, or reading your latest novel or a trip down memory lane playing old tunes on the piano. And try to stay focused, because there may be a lot of activity going on outside the beautiful french doors! Here, you’ll find the sleek, modern courtyard, where another guest could be cooking up some lunch in the outdoor kitchen.
When yoga and lunch is finished, you could delve into a number of other activities, including clay pigeon shooting or cocktail making. Both of these are excellent choices if you’re feeling a little adventurous, but if you’d rather a chilled afternoon, why not sit down to watch a movie on the epic 10-foot cinema screen?
As night creeps in, you could follow that movie with a luxurious, chandelier-lit dinner in the great hall, delivered by one of our brilliant local caterers. Or perhaps take some nibbles to the private pub, where you can spend the rest of the evening shooting some pool, playing poker or simply having a chat at the bar over wine or some local beer.
However you choose to spend your evening or day Merrieweathers has you covered. This is a big luxury house in the country that delivers on all fronts, and will keep you entertained from the moment the sun comes up, to the moment it goes down, and then all over again! So book now to secure the date!
